A man first noticed the problem when a powerful, unpleasant smell began spreading through his house. He cleaned the rooms, checked the garbage, inspected the plumbing, and searched for signs of a dead animal, but nothing explained it. Strangely, the odor became strongest near one particular wall beside the living room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After several days, he called a pest-control worker to investigate. The worker noticed a small opening near the bottom of the wall and decided that something was likely hidden inside the cavity. Once a section was carefully opened, both men were stunned by what began spilling onto the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Behind the wall were thousands upon thousands of acorns<\/strong>, packed tightly together from the floor upward.
